Hello Readers !! This is my first post on Etiole, Today I’m going to write about my favourite Firefox extension – DownThemAll. First of all Are you a Mass Downloader ? The next question you would ask me is ” What do you mean by Mass Downloader ?” – let me tell you, Something which you download as set of files linked in a page without clicking on each one – as simple downloading everything at one click.
DownThemAll serves as a Download manager for Firefox. DownThemAll (or just dTa) is a powerful yet easy-to-use Mozilla Firefox extension that adds new advanced download capabilities to your browser. It lets you download all the links or images contained in a webpage and features an advanced accelerator that increases speed up to 400% with pause and resume downloads at any time for your Firefox browser.
Personally what i feel is ” Its a Powerful and Useful Extension for all Downloaders. Once you have used dTa , you wont go back to Firefox’s default Downloads dialog”
Features of DownThemAll :
1. Complete integration with Mozilla Firefox.
2. Have your page spidered with a single click.

It's better than other download manager like free downoad manager. The resume function has to be one of the best. I have been able to resume any download (which can't be said about other download managers). However I'm not so sure about the 400% speed increase. I don't think there is a significant increase in speed. It might show a you high speed jump (which isn't the actual speed but just a trick to make you think your speed has increased for a few seconds), but in the end the average speed is the one that matters. I do still recommend it compared to other available products, since none of the really increase your speed. Really increase it (to test that, download the same file with your normal download manager and with the so claimed speed increaser at the same time and see which one finishes first).
