I would like all readers to make a note, that all points expressed are my idea and it’s quite expected that you might not agree with my points. So if that is the case, you can discuss it in the Comments.

Now Back to the post, Let Me ask you Why do use Social Networking websites?

Most Expected Answer : – Networking, Obviously. Apart from it, some said they like to secretly know, what their Girlfriend is Doing and follow her updates, some said they like to play games, and most said they look for new Friends and keep up with old ones.

Now if you think of converting this into some kind of business, what do you Expect?

Some did find a way to make some Valuable leads out of it (Like Dell with @delloutlet) but most of them couldn’t (I don’t need to name them).

But the main point is learning from what has happened. As far as surveys are concerned most reports suggest that after tracking user behavior on Social Networking websites, they found that users are not interested in the Ad’s that are being displayed or in some kind of Promotion going on, all they want is Networking and “Fun”.

Now as Per Traditional Advertising Model Suggests, all those methods are #Fail. But as far as what i know, i think there might be some model which fits into this Very Properly. Most Marketing Experts say  that earlier from search Targeting they used to receive at-least 40% Quality Leads from their Campaigns but now with Social Media Campaigns they receive 70% of Junk Leads which makes their tasks of Differentiating Quality Leads form the Junk one’s even more difficult and time consuming.

For a Blogger, he could hit Digg’s Front Page and generate atleast 20K Visits, but then, how many would ever subscribe your blog? And most important, will they take interest in your blogs other content. I know People who got 50K-60K Visits from StumbleUpon but Finally they ended up paying huge bandwidth bills for their hosting space and got just about 900 Feed Subscribers.

According to me, Search Engine Traffic is the Best traffic which is surely quality and not just quantity.
