For all those who always thought how do Oled Displays work, here is a very simple demonstration by MIT Professor. Oled Displays unlike normal displays emit light of their own instead using backlights. What Makes it work?
Electrically active organic material is stuffed between a Anode and a Cathode and when the electric current is passed through it the positive Electrode i.e Anode sends electrons to the Negative Electrode i.e Cathode and this charges the Organic Material and so when both the charges hit the a particular molecule releasing photon, which we get to know as Light. Video after break.
Thanks OLED display.
