Twitter is breaking records. In a little time it has gained great exposure. It is being targeted by many people may be for true social networking or may be social marketing. Well the main thing is how to gain something good from this.
If you have a good number of followers then you really know the skill of tweeting but then if you don’t really know than you need to improve on it. Here are few tips for you to follow before you tweet –
- Make sure what you tweet is the truth.
- If you tweet a reply be sure to make it a positive one because that may help you make a good new friend.
- Try not to hurt anyone’s sentiments in your 140 characters or this may lead to suspension of your account
- Never add more than one link in your tweet or else people will unfollow you thiking you are a spammer!
- Try not to publish more than 3 tweets a minute (or else you will end up being unfollowed simply for the reason that you publish too many tweets)
- Try to make your tweets family friendly or else some people would not like it.
- Whenever you tweet make sure your tweet is interesting (this statement is common but it really works to get more followers)
- If someone answers to your tweet be sure to publish a reply to it. May it be a thanks message or a “I Agree”. This shows your interest in the conversation.
